New South Wales Delivery Manager

Named as one of the ‘Top 10 Most Influential People’ by InsideSAP magazine in 2009 and 2010 and 2011, Stephen Hopkins is a results-driven leader with a unique combination of expertise in consulting, information technology, project management, sales, customer relationship management, logistics and finance. Hopkins is the Delivery Manager for Plaut Australia’s largest region, New South Wales. Stephen’s key focus for 2011 is engaging with Plaut’s customers to refine the service delivery model and ensure Plaut continues to provide customer centric outcomes

Prior to joining Plaut, Hopkins was the Australia and New Zealand Consulting and Operations Director for HCL AXON – a specialised provider of business transformation solutions to large and medium enterprise organisations. During his tenure with HCL AXON, Hopkins built and led a culturally diverse regional team of over 50 consultants, consistently over achieving business results. Hopkins was responsible for the successful sale and rolling implementation of SAP ECC6 for Ramsay Healthcare – a private hospital with nearly 70 sites – with completion of the project both on time and on budget. Hopkins also developed and implemented a robust recruitment and resourcing strategy to attract, retain and build the business to meet customer demands.

Prior to HCL AXON, Hopkins was Regional Manager for Consulting Principles Pty Ltd, a specialised provider of SAP Consulting and authorised SAP Services Partner. Hopkins has also held a number of key account and leadership roles within the healthcare industry.

Hopkins has a Masters of Public Administration (MPA) in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Economics from Brigham Young University, Utah, USA. Hopkins is also a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and Australian Computer Society (ACS) and was a founding Board Member and National Treasurer for the Australian Sport Climbing Federation. Hopkins is fluent in both English and Spanish.
