Plaut IT Australia Chairman, David Prior, declared the start of a new era for Plaut Australia, its Customers and Employees. Commenting on the appointment of former Senior Cisco and EDS executive Mark Alder, as Plaut’s new CEO, David said that; “Plaut has performed strongly over the last years building a strong team and establishing a great track record with our customers based on our Integrity and Delivery. But now it is time to take our business to the next level and expand our business, our capabilities and provide greater opportunities for our team and Customers”.

“To do this, Plaut needed a senior executive with the experience to lead Plaut though this transition, so it is with great pleasure that I announce that Mark Alder has joined Plaut as CEO.” he added. “Mark brings a wealth of experience to Plaut, coming with 20+ years of experience in the sale and delivery of Services across Australia and the globe. He has excelled in a wide variety of senior executive roles in high profile global companies. He knows how to build a business but it was his alignment of his core values, passion for the Australian IT industry and his ability to develop and grow people that made him the right choice to lead Plaut,” David pointed out.

Mark was raised in Canberra. He attended the University of NSW where he was awarded a Bachelor of Engineering (Mech) 1st Class Honours and a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) in 1985. During his working career he has lived and worked in the UK, US and Asia as well as all around Australia and New Zealand.
