Plaut IT Australia has received SAP’s Customer Award of Excellence for 2011. This award is in recognition of the leadership and execution of a program of work Plaut completed with the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC).
2011 was the highest contested SAP Awards of Excellence to date, with over 100 submissions received by the judges. PLAUT’s achievement is a direct result of its focus on customer success, innovation, professionalism and teamwork.
The program of work, for which Plaut was nominated, captured these passions and showcased the ability of the Department of Immigration and Citizenship to run better as a result of the organisation working with Plaut across SAP solutions.
Plaut Chief Executive Officer, Mark Alder said, “We are proud and honoured to have been chosen as this year’s winner of the SAP Customer Awards of Excellence. This award recognises the strength and passion of our teams and their absolute dedication to service excellence. Plaut’s best asset is its people and it’s wonderful to see their efforts recognised in this way”.
Plaut and DIAC Team receiving the SAP Customer Awards of Excellence
Plaut delivered a revenue receipting solution to DIAC, enabled by the SAP Public Section Collections and Disbursements capability, with the SAP Process Integration platform used to integrate with third party and legacy systems.
The complexity of the solution challenged the capabilities of SAP and integration with other third party systems. The new processes have changed the way people work at DIAC, by providing nationally consistent businesses processes and providing better control of the department’s business transactions.
The strategic importance of this project and the specialised skills required to deliver it resulted in Plaut’s selection as partner to DIAC “A key and integral contributor to the success of this project was our Partner PLAUT IT Australia. In particular, they were the only ones who could provide the SAP PS-CD skill set” said Alex El Debel, Assistant Secretary of Border and Corporate Systems at DIAC.
Together DIAC and Plaut have introduced new technology and business processes to enable greater cash management efficiencies for the department. “PLAUT worked tirelessly to ensure the project was delivered on time and budget and were very flexible in the way they managed and provided resources to the team” said Alex. |
